The death of “Sahar”, the first case of lung transplantation in Egypt

She passed away, Sahar Rabie, the owner of the first case of lung transplantation in Egypt, nearly two weeks following the date of the surgery.

Her father, Rabih Farhat, said, in exclusive statements to the “Consulto” website, that his daughter passed away and moved to her final resting place, Ain Shams Specialized Hospital.

It is noteworthy that this surgery is the first of its kind in Egypt, the Middle East, and the Middle East, which was performed at Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, and it took more than 14 continuous hours to be performed for a 30-year-old girl, following obtaining two lung lobules from her two brothers, Kamel and Juma, for their sister, who suffered from respiratory failure.
