A powerful 5G smartphone
Although it is the non-Pro model of the series, the Realme GT 2 does not lack arguments and above all demonstrates a good level of performance, as evidenced by the writing test. The power is brought to this smartphone by the excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, a reference on premium models until the arrival of its successor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, in the spring of 2022. This is without taking into account that it is compatible with 5G.
The SoC is also supported on this version by 12 GB of RAM, which allows the Realme GT 2 to run demanding games and manage multitasking without any problems. The user experience is all the more significant as this smartphone is equipped with a large 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with an optimal refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Good battery life and fast charging
The other main strength of the Realme GT 2 lies in its wide autonomy of more than one day in normal use. This is made possible by an XL 5000 mAh battery, which is also compatible with the SuperDart 65 W fast charge. Half an hour is then enough to fully charge your smartphone.
To maintain an attractive price, however, Realme had to make some compromises. The photo part is therefore intended to be more basic, but nevertheless very correct with, on the program, the very good 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor backed by an OIS and already spotted on photophones such as theOppo Find X5 Pro. This sensor is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle, as well as a 2-megapixel macro. A beautiful configuration which nevertheless shows its limits when the light is low.
