A professional soccer player and his girlfriend were arrested at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport this weekend following 100 kilograms of cocaine were found in suitcases.
It was reported that Jean-Manuel Nedra, the former Martinique international and the current player of the Aiglon de Lamentin club in the first division, in the Caribbean country, was placed in pre-trial detention, according to the newspaper “Daily Star”.
The French newspaper Le Parisien reported that Nidra, 29, appeared before the investigating judge with his girlfriend.
Niedra made his debut with Martinique in 2012 following stints with the American club Marinois.
