The United States and Germany announced on Thursday that they would provide additional military aid to Ukraine following a telephone conversation between US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The two countries will send armored vehicles, of the Bradley type for the United States and of the Marder type for Germany, it was indicated in a joint press release.
Germany will also supply Patriot air defense missile systems.
Call for donations
The two countries also added that “additional donations of air defense systems and combat vehicles” from their allies would be welcome.
These announcements come following the announcement, Wednesday, of the upcoming delivery by Paris of AMX-10 RC battle tanks.
