Relatives had come last February 2022 to report his loss, so they later handed out flyers with his photo and contact numbers to find his whereregardings.

A police commission appeared on La Vecindad street in El Sisal, in Guacara, where the investigations began.

The first clue regarding her disappearance occurred on January 2, following activity was recorded on the missing woman’s phone. That same day officials arrived where the phone and the murderer were, the woman’s ex-husband, who confessed minutes later that he had buried her in a community house.

The man hid the corpse a meter and a half deep, at the foot of a saman tree.

Rebeca had four children, the two youngest with Jairo, from whom she had been separated for five years.

The day of his disappearance he had gone out to run some personal errands. A couple of days later, when he did not arrive, his father decided to report the case to the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc).

The killer posed as a father concerned regarding his children and distressed by the disappearance of ex. He took his children with him and took care of all his activities, according to El Carabobeño.

“That kid grew up here. We all know it. A healthy boy. Calm. He always passed by here as if nothing had happened, to go home to clean the bush. That we were going to imagine that he had buried a woman there, ”said an inhabitant of the sector.

The Bolivarian National Police (PNB) concluded the search work at dawn on January 2, when the murderer was taken from the place in a patrol car and escorted away due to the possibility of being lynched.
