After presenting a Yoga 9i last year, Lenovo is back at CES 2023 with its evolution: the Yoga Book 9i. A major development since it is now a laptop with two real screens, for improved comfort and increased productivity.
Last year, Lenovo renewed its PC portables convertibles, including Yoga 9i. This year during the CES 2023, this is not the case, since the brand presented the Yoga Book 9i, a two-screen version of its old laptop, which wants to be at the forefront of technology and a new chapter in the Yoga range. The manufacturer takes advantage of the show to present the latest versions of its ThinkPad X1 range, son « Mac mini »but also its new ThinkVision PC screens.
Two screens for twice the comfort
This 2-in-1 laptop has two 13.3-inch 2.8K Oled screens. Touchscreens that can be used with Lenovo’s Smart Pen. These two tiles are compatible Dolby Vision HDR and support 100% DCI-P3 color space. They adopt a 16:10 format that is more pleasant for productivity than the very classic 16:9. The refresh rate is 60 Hz and the maximum brightness of 400 cd / m², which remains classic.
A two-screen experience which can apparently be enjoyed positioned side by side vertically, or one on top of the other horizontally. Enough to open several windows simultaneously, even on the move, to work more efficiently. The design is reminiscent of the fusion between a Surface Duo and one ThinkPad X1 FoldLenovo’s laptop with a foldable screen, and of course reminds le Surface Neo, little angel gone too soon.
Among the features developed is a five-finger gesture that allows viewing an image on both screens simultaneously. You can change the display mode at any time: classic laptop, both screens simultaneously, or even as a touch pad. A change of shape facilitated by the folio support provided.
The Yoga Book 9i is entitled to the latest Intel Core processors
