When it became clear that Kravchenko would not appear at the Palace of Arts in the Leningrad Region, Sadalsky panicked. He called it force majeure, but his colleagues were able to correct the situation. Two hours before the first call, the actress Zoya Buryak was brought in.

“A grandiose actress who agreed to help without talking, asking only one question: “Who are we playing?”. In an hour, she managed to learn the text of the role and all the mise en scenes. Isn’t that a miracle? – Sadalsky is amazed.

The actor is grateful to his colleagues in the play, who “saved” the situation, and the audience did not even notice the changes in the composition. And Sadalsky decided that the entreprise would continue to live without Kravchenko.
