The game operation in Serie A is running once more. In the top game, Inter defeated the visitors from Napoli 1-0 through Edin Dzeko’s goal, while Roma and Juventus also recorded victories. Only Lazio surprisingly lost 2-1 to Cremonese. Milan and Sampdoria had done their duty before ( here go to the report).
The first few minutes in the top game in Serie A between leaders Napoli and Inter clearly belonged to the Milanese. Simone Inzaghi’s team looked fresher and tactically better. Romelu Lukaku shone once more and once more with dangerous runs into the gaps, while Matteo Darmian and Federico Dimarco caused big problems for the Napoli defense on the flanks. Sometimes just a few centimeters were missing to lead following these three protagonists completed their shots. The leader initially held back, only Khvicha Kvaratskhelia twirled on his flank and tried to serve Victor Osimhen. It went into the break 0-0.

Inter continued their dominance in the second half and were rewarded within minutes. The 1-0 by Edin Dzeko in the 56th can confidently be rated as a goal of the absolute top class. The main factor, however, was the preparation. Because Henrikh Mkhitaryan had a flash of inspiration in midfield and served Dimarco on the cross with a dream pass following a wonderful turn. He did the same as his teammate and put his cross right on Dzeko’s head, who slammed the ball powerfully into the goal. No chance for Napoli keeper Alex Meret.
Although the guests then woke up and had red-hot opportunities through Giacomo Raspadori and the magnificently playing Kvaratskhelia, the Inter defense held and the game ended 1-0. This gave Milan Napoli their first defeat of the current Serie A season.

Juventus Turin also had a successful start to the new season. The Bianconeri edged out US Cremonese 1-0, though Arkadiusz Milik’s late added-time goal saved Max Allegri and company. Last season’s promoted team kept up with the “old lady” for a long time and was able to leave the field with their heads held high. Nevertheless, the Lombards might still miss the late awarded point with a view to the relegation battle later in the season. Meanwhile, Juve celebrated their seventh consecutive win in the league and are slowly making leaders Napoli and Milan fear.
Lazio stumbles
However, there was a surprise in the game Lecce once morest Lazio. The Romans are currently within striking distance of the Champions League places, but once morest the club from the middle of the table the “Biancocelesti” lost 1: 2. And that despite the fact that everything went according to plan at the beginning and Ciro Immobile scored the lead with his 1-0 lead in the 14th minute. However, an unanswered double strike from Cremonese by Gabriel Strefezza (57th) and Lorenzo Colombo (71st) to make it 2-1 sealed Lazio’s botched evening.
