I praised Korea’s potential in this World Cup, but I also made mistakes that I mightn’t laugh at.

Ronaldo said he had offers from several teams, but wanted to help Saudi Arabia develop football, citing rivals Messi’s Argentina.

He also acknowledged Korea’s potential by citing another example of Korea, which achieved a miracle in the round of 16 by defeating Portugal.

“(At the World Cup) there were a lot of surprises. For example, there was , African teams, Costa Rica did really well. It’s not easy to win any game these days.”
However, he made a dizzying mistake as if he had mistaken the name of the country.

“My career didn’t end just because I came here. To be honest, I don’t really care what people say.”
Ronaldo is expected to make his Saudi League debut at home.
