Jesper Peltonen (24) will follow in the footsteps of his father Ville and play for HC Lugano. The Finnish defender with a Swiss license will indeed leave Kloten for the Ticino club at the end of the season. He signed up for two years with the bianconeri.
Born in Helsinki, Jesper Peltonen, like his twin brother Aleksi, took his first playing license in Lugano when their father Ville Peltonen was wreaking havoc in opposition defences. In 2006, then captain of the team, he led the Luganese to their 7th and last league title.

Ambri-Piotta extends the contracts of Conz and Kostner
Ambri-Piotta continues to bet on his goalkeeper Benjamin Conz (31 years old). The Leventine club, recent winners of the Spengler Cup, extended Conz’s contract by one year, which expired at the end of the season. The people of Ticino have also signed Diego Kostner (30) to a new 2-year contract. The Swiss-licensed Italian striker is playing his 7th season with the biancoblu, while Conz is playing for the 6th consecutive year with them.
