The Municipal Council of Agadir adopted, unanimously by its members, the municipal action plan for the period 2022 – 2027 on 1is January 2023. It was on the occasion of the holding of its extraordinary session.
The Municipality of Agadir adopted its action plan 2022-2027, at the beginning of the year 2023. Meeting in extraordinary session, the municipal council of the city voted unanimously for this adoption. The Chairman of the Council, Aziz Akhannouch, took the opportunity to highlight the efforts undertaken by the members of the Council for the development of this action plan. He also reviewed the broad outlines of this program, the result of a consultative approach with the various actors at city level.
With funding of more than 4 billion dirhams, this plan aims in particular to create an attractive territorial space by improving the quality of life in Agadir and reinforcing the sustainable and intelligent nature of the city. The plan also aims to promote the democratic model of management and governance, and to put in place a modern infrastructure through the creation of 7 new urban centers.
It should be noted that the consultations, as part of the implementation of the plan, were marked by the participation of 1,000 people and some 140 local authorities and associations.
