Is there a clause in Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nasr that allows him to move to Newcastle? .. Eddie Howe answers

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Eddie Howe, coach of English club Newcastle United, commented on press reports indicating the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo moving to the ranks of his team, from the Saudi club Al-Nasr.

And reports had claimed that there was a clause in the Portuguese striker’s contract with Al-Alamy that allowed him to join Newcastle United, owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, on loan from Al-Nasr, in the event that the English club qualified for the Champions League competition next season.

Eddie Howe denied the reports, telling Sky Sports: “We wish Cristiano Ronaldo all the best in his new project, but there is no truth in that from our point of view.”

Ronaldo has a contract with Al-Nasr Club for two seasons until 2025, and it was decided that he would wear shirt No. 7 with the team.

Yesterday, Tuesday, a reception for the 37-year-old Portuguese striker was held at Marsoul Park, in the presence of his family and thousands of fans.
