Sivakarthikeyan’s latest film was ‘Prince’. The film, which told the story with a hint of humor, also met with failure in the theaters. Now Sivakarthikeyan has paid compensation to Prince’s distributors.
Prince has caused a loss of 12 crores to the distributors. 50% of the loss was borne by Sivakarthikeyan and the producers. It is suggested that Sivakarthikeyan paid Rs 3 crore to the distributors.
Released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, Prince tells the story of a love affair between an Indian boy and a British girl. Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka played the heroine in the movie. Sathyaraj and Prenggi Amaran were also part of the film. Thaman composed the music.
Currently, Sivakarthikeyan’s film ‘Maveeran’ is in the pipeline. The film is directed by Madhoni Ashwin and produced by Shanti Talkies. The cinematography of the film is by Vidhu Ayyanna. Bharat Shankar is the music director.
