Poco C50 unveiled abroad at a cheap price and these specifications

Xiaomi revealed its latest cheap phone abroad under the name Poco C50. The phone comes with modest specifications and a price that does not exceed approximately $80.

The new phone is actually a rebranding of the Redmi A1+ phone, but the company reintroduced it once more under the name Poco C50 and introduced it in India first.

Poco C50 specifications

The Poco C50 comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels, with a refresh rate of just 60Hz.

This screen includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera located inside a water drop-shaped bump.

In the back, the new phone offers a dual rear camera, one of which is a depth sensor and the other is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and there is also a fingerprint scanner next to the cameras.

The heart of the phone is a 12 nm MediaTech Helio A22 chip with 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM depending on the version, and 32 GB of internal storage expandable through a microSD card slot.

The Poco C50 runs on Android 12 Go with the MIUI layer for POCO on top, and it has a leather-like texture on the back, which gives it the ability to resist water splashes.

Price and availability:

The phone was officially launched in India, and it is available in two colors, royal blue and green, and there are two models available on the Flipkart store.

The first model contains 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space, at a price of 6,499 Indian rupees, “equivalent to approximately $ 78,” but it will be launched at a reduced price of 6,249 Indian rupees, “75 dollars.”

As for the second version, it contains 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space, and it is sold at a price of 6999 Indian rupees, approximately $ 85.

Finally, the new phone is only available abroad now, and the company has not explained the possibility of its availability in other markets yet.
