The president of the Saudi Al-Nasr Club reveals the scenes of the contract with Cristiano Ronaldo

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The head of the Saudi Al-Nasr Club, Musali Al Muammar, said that Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to be the highest paid player in the world, given that he is the best player in the football game.

And press reports had claimed that the Portuguese striker would receive approximately $83 million annually with Al-Alamy, in addition to a set of incentives and commercial advertisements, bringing the total amount to $203 million per year.

The 37-year-old Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nasr club extends for two years, until 2025.

And the “global” president spoke regarding granting Cristiano Ronaldo an amount of money that is the largest in the history of football, as he told the media following the player’s introduction: “If we talk regarding the deal numbers for a star like Cristiano, I have already said that he is the best player in the history of the game, it is natural that He is the highest-paid player in the world, and this is something he deserves.” He explained, “We only gave him the sums he deserves.”

Mosli Al Muammar revealed the Portuguese striker’s requests from the administration during the negotiations, saying: “I want to clarify something that reflects Ronaldo’s professionalism. During his negotiations, his request was that he be treated the same as his colleagues, in terms of rewards and in terms of club regulations.”

The head of Al-Nasr continued: “This is not surprising, because he is a great and professional player, and he is a role model for many young players around the world, and the clubs that dealt with Ronaldo will not be surprised by that.”

Musli Al Muammar confirmed in statements to the Saudi Al-Ikhbariya channel that the negotiations between the two parties were “smooth,” saying: “The negotiations did not take long. There are coaches or players with whom negotiations were more difficult. Fortunately for us, Ronaldo had a clear goal and continues his career as a player.” And his terms were more sporting than anything else.”
