“I was overwhelmed with tears yesterday watching the show with my family and friends in my living room, confided Jeanick Fournier this morning to the Journal. I thought to myself, “wow, that went well!” It’s to see the reaction of people too, because on the spot I was nervous and I didn’t want to think that the show was presented all over the world. It’s huge! I can’t be disappointed, because how many people would have dreamed of being there, in my place?

Jeanick Fournier and his manager, Régis Nadeau, had to keep the result of the performance of the singer from Saguenay secret since she went to film the show two months ago in Los Angeles.

“We are very happy with his good performance, explained his manager, Régis Nadeau, to the Journal. She was still among the top 60 performers in the world, so it was already an incredible honor that she was chosen. Jeanick is an amazing person, always cheerful and whose voice, as Judge Howie Mandel said on the show, “is a bit like the voice of an angel”. I am very proud of her.”

Pride

For the winner of Canada’s Got Talent having signed with Universal Music and having released his first eponymous album last October, the time is therefore not for disappointment, but rather for pride in having been able to participate in this major show bringing together the winners of the editions of broadcast around the world.

The 50-year-old singer boasts of the greatness of this television production where she was mentored, coached, where she met vocal coaches, producers and directors, and where she was treated, she says, “like a princess”.

“It’s extraordinary to have experienced this and to have this exposurecontinued the artist who returns from Las Vegas where she sang Never Enough at the showAmerica’s Got Talent Live at the Luxor hotel. It’s magical and touching! I’m sure I’ll go back to LA one day, I feel it and I’ve always said I believed my little inner voice.”

Next stop: the world!

It is because Jeanick Fournier “belongs to a truly exceptional category” that his manager left his job in the hotel industry and found himself a partner to devote himself entirely to the career of the singer living in Chicoutimi. They see big for their artist who is ready to conquer the world.

“She has the potential to go very far, launched her manager, assuring that an international career is a goal for them. She likes helping people, she likes the public, she feels like a fish in water in this job. Since May, it’s been a rolling fire, in fact it’s more like a tsunami of work, interviews and shows.

The singer is also one of the 10 personalities of the year 2022 chosen by Isabelle Racicot and her team in the special program Tens of 2022 which will be broadcast tonight on Radio-Canada.

“I have a lot of love to share with my voice, emotions and memories to create and that’s what I want to pass on to people,” continued the singer, referring to two new albums to come. I was put on earth to bring people happiness, so if I can do that with my voice, I feel like I belong. Sky is the Limit!»
