ABU DHABI, 3rd January, 2020 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed during a phone call with Jean Asselborn, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg, the friendship and bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the opportunities available to enhance them in several fields.
The two sides exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the new Gregorian year, reviewed the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, and exchanged views on them.
During the phone call, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the distinguished bilateral relations between the UAE and Luxembourg, and the joint keenness to enhance cooperation horizons and diversify its paths to serve the development goals of both countries.
For his part, His Excellency Jean Asselborn expressed his country’s aspiration to enhance joint cooperation with the UAE in various sectors, praising the leading position enjoyed by the country at the regional and international levels.
