Shah Rukh Khan is known as one of the top actors in Bollywood. Various beautiful actresses have been his co-stars in romantic films, but rarely is he exposed to gossip or scandals. Even though he chose to marry at a fairly young age with Gauri Khan early in his career.
Shah Rukh Khan turned out to have a surefire way to avoid fights and make his wife jealous, by shooting the scene abroad.
The 54-year-old actor feels awkward when he has to do intimate scenes in front of many people. He only did a kiss scene once, namely with Katrina Kaif in the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
“I don’t feel comfortable doing romantic scenes in front of many people, whether it’s passersby or crew,” he said.
Shah Rukh Khan has emphatically revealed that compared to his career or any film offer, he prefers his wife. So that all the roles he plays must have been approved by his wife.
“My wife is always the first choice and I will give you this answer the next time you ask me regarding career and Gauri, I will leave film industry… I can go crazy without her,” said Shah Rukh Khan.
“She’s the only thing I have…. I love her body, I’m totally in love with her,” she added.
Besides that, Shah Rukh Khan is also a protective figure for his wife. He wouldn’t even let her wear a white shirt because she thought it was too sexy.
Even so, Shah Rukh Khan still maintains Gauri’s privacy. He never even wanted to see the contents of his wife’s wallet even though they had been together for 30 years.
In his interview with GQ in 2018, he was asked if he had ever had an affair. Shah Rukh Khan also answered emphatically that he was never interested in having an affair at all.
But he always has a hard time rejecting things, so sometimes he is put in a difficult position because of that.
“Because I’ve never cheated, people have even considered me as a same-sex lover. I’m too old now (to cheat),” he said.
Not only that, the 55-year-old actor still keeps a promise he made to his wife. He also openly admits that he sometimes falls in love with his co-stars, but there is a promise that must be kept.
“So I promised my wife that even though I was free to attend any party, whether with her or not, she wouldn’t have to worry regarding whether I had slept with any of the women in the room.”
“No woman will come to say hi and say she knows me better than you,” said Shah Rukh Khan.
Previously, there were rumors regarding the affair between Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. This started with the actor’s praise for the attention given by Nick Jonas’ wife when the two of them worked together in the film Don.
However, he immediately denied this news and said that there had never been any scandal between him and Priyanka Chopra. He also admitted that he was saddened by the wrong perception of people.
