The whole story of the so-called ‘Reveal No. 2701’ by Ahn Deok-soo, a trainer who took care of the Korean national soccer team players during the 2022 Qatar World Cup, has been revealed.

On the 2nd, Dispatch reported on the background of Ahn Trainor leaving a message on his social network service (SNS) last month that seemed to warn of whistleblowing.

At the time, Ahn Trainor said, “A lot of things happened in Room 2701, and if you contact reporters regarding why Room 2701 was created, you will be able to learn more regarding things beyond common sense beyond imagination.”

Again, “Change. And don’t take care of my family,” he sniped at someone.

The article spread and became a hot topic in online communities. However, since then, Ahn Trainor did not reveal the reason for writing, resulting in a lot of speculation and controversy.

According to Dispatch, Trainer Ahn seems to be angry at the Football Association (hereinfollowing referred to as the Chukhyup) protecting my family.

Trainer Ahn participated in the Qatar World Cup as a personal trainer for Son Heung-min, not a member of the National Federation of Livestock Cooperatives.

One of the players went to Qatar on a business ticket he had booked, and he stayed in a hotel and took care of the players’ muscles for 15 hours a day with 5 to 6 players a day.

Athletes needed Trainer Ahn to the extent that they would buy plane tickets for themselves, but the Chukhyup did not officially hire Trainer Ahn. because of eligibility issues.

In 2014, the K-League Federation suddenly changed the qualification requirements for rehabilitation trainers, saying it would recognize only AT (Athletic Trainer) certificates issued by the Korea Athlete Trainer Association (KATA).

Trainer Ahn, who was from the 1st class of KATA, got his license in 2002 and had no problems, but when juniors with other licenses were on the verge of becoming unemployed, he confronted the federation and refused to renew his license.

Since 2018, the players have asked the Chukhyeop to recruit Ahn. However, the Federation of Livestock Cooperatives objected, saying that Ahn was not qualified because he did not renew his license.

However, an unexpected fact was revealed during the Qatar World Cup. A person in charge of the Livestock Cooperative confessed, “There are trainers who do not have licenses in the Livestock Cooperative.”

In fact, the justification for not hiring An Trainer for the Livestock Cooperative has disappeared.

When the players found out regarding this and protested, the Korea Federation of Livestock Cooperatives acknowledged the fact, and the mandatory trainer team leader A took measures to stay only at the hotel, not the ground, throughout the World Cup.

On the other hand, it is known that an official of the Livestock Cooperative replied, “I have nothing to say, I apologize.”
