Al-Marsad Newspaper: The traffic spokesman, Colonel Mansour Al-Shakrah, explained that changing the study timing for schools and universities and transforming “remote” work for some government agencies to deal with traffic congestion in Riyadh will be discussed.

He said during an interview with Al-Ikhbariya channel that the Public Security Directorate, represented by the General Traffic Department, in the presence of the Director of Public Security, will hold a workshop with the participation of the relevant authorities entitled “Traffic Density and Proposed Operational Solutions” to discuss the challenges of traffic density on the road network in the city. Riyadh.

He continued: “This workshop is expected to come out with many recommendations that contribute to raising traffic safety on the roads, maintaining road security, and possible solutions for the smooth flow of traffic.

Regarding the axes that will be included in the workshop, the traffic spokesman said: “Building an operational model for ring and highway roads, re-studying the mechanism of traffic signals, and benefiting from the experience of the Royal Commission for the Development of Riyadh in re-operating some roads during the Riyadh Metro project.

He added: It also supports the possibility of working remotely for some companies, institutions and government agencies, changing the timing of some schools and universities, and other possible solutions.
