Renault deprived the flagship crossover all-wheel drive

First, the “junior” turbodiesel with a volume of 1.7 liters (150 forces) was replaced by the gasoline “turbo four” 1.3 TCe (158 forces) familiar to the Russians, and now the time has come for the resignation of the 2.0-liter 185-horsepower unit on “heavy” fuel. Together with the diesel engine, the X-Tronic variator and the all-wheel drive system with a clutch in the rear axle drive disappeared from the range.

Although the Koleos crossover is not a Renault bestseller, the automaker raised prices by 1,400 euros by reducing the lineup. The basic version of the Evolution costs in France from 45,100 euros, and for the top-end Initiale Paris, you need to pay 49,000 euros. Curiously, heated front seats, 19-inch alloy wheels and leather upholstery are reserved only for the most expensive Koleos.
