Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine, sent a message of condolences to His Holiness Pope Francis following the death on Saturday of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, at the age of 95.
In this message, the Sovereign affirms having learned with deep sorrow the news of the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, may God have him in His holy mercy.
In this painful circumstance, HM the King expresses to His Holiness Pope Francis and, through him, to the Christian world and to the Catholic Church in particular, His deep condolences and His sincere feelings of compassion, imploring the Most High of their to grant patience and comfort and to surround the deceased with His infinite mercy.
