Apple is the best-selling smartphone brand in China, ahead of local manufacturers Huawei, Oppo and Xiaomi. Dominating a market as important as that of the Middle Empire is a considerable inflow of money for the apple brand which is very caring for its public.
On the occasion of Chinese New Year on January 22, the Cupertino company has decided to mark the occasion. While the Chinese calendar provides for a transition to the year of the “rabbit” for 2023, Apple has customized AirPods Pro 2 recently released in the colors of this new year.
A small but important change
With a little rabbit engraved on the charging box as well as on the delivery box, these AirPods Pro are recognizable at first glance. Apple says they will be available in stores and online in China, Taiwan, as well as Hong Kong and Macau in the coming days.
The small aesthetic differences between these headphones and the other AirPods Pro 2 are the only noticeable changes. The products all benefit from the same functionalities, these are not new AirPods, but a special variant.
New case for the iPhone 14
In addition to the AirPods Pro 2, Apple has decided to offer its customers an iPhone 14 case especially for the Chinese New Year. The latter is accompanied by a promotion of 1000 yen (regarding 7) for the purchase of an iPhone 13 or 13 mini or a apple tablet.
MacBook Air and Pro are also eligible for the promotion. It ends on January 2, specifies Apple in its press release on the subject.
This is not the first time that the apple brand celebrates the transition to the new year in China. Apple is very present in this country which makes it feel good. With more than 7 million iPhones sold only during “6.18” the equivalent of Black Friday in China, the Apple brand is one of the favorites in the country. She hopes for the rest as long as possible.
