The Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing denied today, Friday, the information circulated on the various digital platforms regarding the alleged authorization to occupy a building in the Vida Pacifica urbanization for an alleged group of magistrates assigned to the Supreme Court, in Luanda. .
In a note made public, the Ministerial Department of the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing, says it has become aware, via digital platforms, of information involving the Secretary of State for Urbanism and Housing, Adérito Mohamed, as having authorized these judges to occupy a building identified in Block 14, in Urbanização Vida Pacifica, in Viana.
“This Ministry denies that this information is true, due to the irregularity of the act and the fact that these apartments already have their respective beneficiaries, with signed contracts”, says the document.
On the other hand, upon learning of this information, the Secretary of State for Urbanism and Housing, Adérito Mohamed, “denies having given any authorization to the supposed group of magistrates to occupy a building in this urbanization, for which reason the practice of demarcating and repudiating acts that violate the general regime of access and use of housing built with public funds”, quotes the note.
For this reason, the document advances, the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing also reiterates that any forms of access and use of housing built with public funds that do not comply with the principles contained in Presidential Decree 278/20 of 26 October, combined with Presidential Decree 84/22 of April 12, “will not be considered valid”.
Located in the urban district of Zango, municipality of Viana, in Luanda, the Vida Pacífica urbanization is one of the housing complexes that, in 2020, underwent the foreclosure process, through the National Asset Recovery Service of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) , as it was built with state funds.
