Where to Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2023 in Chicago – NBC Chicago

And just like that, we are already one day away from New Year’s Eve.

While some plan to stay home to ring in the New Year, others will be heading to the city, and luckily for them, Chicago is one of the top 10 places to spend the holidays, according to the new wallethub ranking.

One of the main reasons the Windy City was crowned one of the top destinations to close out 2022 and welcome 2023 is thanks to its food and entertainment, the study says. Chicago scored highly for food and entertainment as a city with the most restaurants and nightlife per capita among the other ranked places, beating out Los Angeles, Austin, Miami and Seattle.
