The amendments issued to the private civil security guard system stipulated the fees of a number of licenses, especially for security training centers, institutions and security guard companies operating in the country, in a step aimed at institutionalizing this sector, arranging it, and taking it away from interference and randomness.
The amendments stipulated the value of fees for issuing or renewing a civil security guard license, which does not exceed 200 riyals, while the fees for issuing a license for a private civil security guard institution or company amounted to 3 thousand riyals, while setting 40 thousand riyals as fees for fire and security training centers.
The amendments included fees for shooting clubs, and those related to weapons licenses, according to a royal decree, placing the responsibility for issuing these licenses on the shoulders of the Ministry of Interior, which has the right to set the period and renew them, in addition to collecting fees.
According to the issued royal decree, the Minister of Interior – or his representative – issues licenses for private civil security guard institutions and companies, and licenses for training centers affiliated with the private sector to provide training courses in the areas of security and safety related to civil defense and firefighting, in addition to collecting a fee for a civil security guard license or renewing it. Trainer’s license or renewal, approval of a training bag, and a fee for approving the professional certificate for the trainee.
On the other hand, the Council of Ministers agreed to amend Clause (Sixth) of Royal Decree No. (M/68) dated 11/6/1437 AH, and it stipulated amending the exit and re-entry visa fees, and that the amount be (200) riyals for one trip for a maximum of two months. And (100) riyals for each additional month if the resident is inside the Kingdom, and in the event that he is outside the Kingdom, the fee for the additional month will be doubled, within the limits of the validity period of the residence, and (500) riyals for several trips for a period of three months, and (200) riyals For each additional month if the resident is inside the Kingdom, and in the event that he is outside the Kingdom, the fee for the additional month shall be doubled, within the limits of the validity period of the residence permit.
The Council made an amendment to the renewal of the residence permit for the companions of foreign workers and domestic workers, if they are outside the Kingdom through the electronic portal of the Ministry of Interior.
The amendments included approval of adding a paragraph to Article (Twelve) of the Travel Documents System, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/24) dated 5/28/1421 AH, amended by Royal Decree No. (M/48) dated 6/27/1437 AH, It specified 500 riyals when issuing a passport or renewing it within (24) hours.
The amendments granted the Minister of Interior the authority to approve the issuance of a license to open shooting clubs, and to collect a fee for a shooting club license of category (A), category (B), and category (C), in addition to the security registration costs, according to the controls and conditions specified by the regulations, and the Council of Ministers. modify any of the fees.
At the same time, the amendments specified types of weapons licenses, such as a license to carry a firearm for individuals, a license to own a firearm for individuals, a license to possess a firearm for companies and institutions, a license to carry and own an air weapon, a license to import and sell air weapons, a license to import and sell antique weapons, and a repair shop license. weapons maintenance, a marksmanship instructor’s license, a permit to transport a firearm licensed to be possessed, in addition to a license to import and sell firearms and ammunition, a license for the warden to keep and store weapons, and a license for a weapons maintenance technician; Up to a license to carry and use a functional weapon for workers in companies and institutions licensed to possess firearms.
