Recently and to end the year, the Puerto Rican launched the song “Christmas in PR”, together with two exponents of the old school, Ñejo and Dálmata, who also represent his inspiration, since they are representative figures of an era and were the singers of their graduation party, then recording with them is their greatest pride.

Although it is already the end of the year, it is well known that Christmas in Puerto Rico is the longest in the world, it is not over yet, it began on November 1 and ends in mid-January with the streets of San Sebastián, and therefore the song it fits by letting you feel the happiness and nostalgia of the season.

When starting to write the song, PJ Sin Suela recalls a phrase by Ñejo from two decades ago, so he thought it convenient to make them share in that inspiration and the famous duet, who had not joined for some time, decided to accompany him, so this link is something of a blessing for the Puerto Rican rapper.

The album

In the midst of so much work, he has had the time to release a second album, “Chinchorreo”, which comes out in mid-January and has a bit of what he calls an experiment, where his friends intervene from the naturalness that inspires in a meeting or celebration, then there will be some traditional Boricua music, even more elaborate sounds.

The album, which is made up of nine songs, had its genesis with drummer and producer David B, who met with the artist to perfect the sound, which, as he states, is very happy and invites many local artists, which blend with the biggest ones. Although his music will always show similarities, he adds that this second proposal is far from “De vuelta a casa”, a debut album that might be enjoyed during the pandemic.

Regarding his stage name, the Puerto Rican clarifies that PJ obeys the initials of his names, while Sin Suela refers to that “imprint” that he wants to leave in the genre and in the music.
