Ramallah – the world of the homeland
Artist Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and director Peter Mimi celebrated the opening of the screening of their new movie “Shalabi” at the “Reel” cinema in Dubai, in the presence of the Arab audience in the UAE, and a number of friends who participated in Karim and Peter at the moment the film was shown, including director Mohamed Sami and businessman Monther Darwish. And the author Ahmed Taher Yassin, the photographer Muhammad Al-Sayed, the media personality Abeer Shoura, Shaima Hafez, the broadcaster of “Radio 9090”, and the jewelry designer Zozo Kahramana.
The events of the film revolve around a comic framework around the young “Saber”, who is played by the artist Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, who works in one of the horror houses in the cabarets. He meets Robbie during work events and they fall in love.
The filmmakers released its official song, entitled “Ibn Al-Batta Al-Souda”, which was sung by artist Ramy Gamal and singer Ahmed Salem, and the audience reacted enthusiastically to it.
The film “Shalabi” is the second collaboration between Karim Abdel Aziz and Peter Mimi in the cinema, following their success together through the movie “For Zico”. The film’s song “Ghazala Raika” was also a great success.
