Grabbed Softbank entry from Fukui in July, but out of force in just 3 months

Pitcher Ryo Akiyoshi, who was out of Softbank, updated his SNS on the 30th and declared that he would play in an independent league next season. He said, “Due to the contract, we will announce the name of the team later,” but the new world has been decided.

“Next season, I will be returning to the independent league as a player and pitching coach.I would like to continue pitching so that the fans can support me. I would like to teach young players what I have been doing over the years, and I would like to do my best to teach as many players as possible so that they can go to NPB.”

Akiyoshi joined Yakult in 3rd place in the 2013 draft. He belonged to Nippon-Ham from 2019 as a trade, and following the end of 2021, he was a “non-tender” and a free contract. After that, he joined the independent Japan Sea Ocean League Fukui and joined Softbank in July. He achieved his long-awaited return to NPB, but he received a notice of out of force in just three months.
