“Next season, I will be returning to the independent league as a player and pitching coach.I would like to continue pitching so that the fans can support me. I would like to teach young players what I have been doing over the years, and I would like to do my best to teach as many players as possible so that they can go to NPB.”
Akiyoshi joined Yakult in 3rd place in the 2013 draft. He belonged to Nippon-Ham from 2019 as a trade, and following the end of 2021, he was a “non-tender” and a free contract. After that, he joined the independent Japan Sea Ocean League Fukui and joined Softbank in July.
