The British brothers charged with kidnapping and rape, court sources told Romanian media Libertatea.

The brothers allegedly held two young women inside the villa once morest their will in April, where they were allegedly subjected to “physical and mental abuse”, according to the Daily Mail.

Police suspect the Tate brothers formed an organized crime group that “sexually exploited members of the group by forcing them to perform pornographic displays for the purpose of posting them on social media platforms.”

The two men had been questioned on April 11 by the police for five hours, but had been released, reports Libertatea.

A video of Tate being escorted into a car and flanked by two officers was shared shortly following the news broke.

Tate’s arrest appears to have been prompted by his feud that arose the day before on Twitter with environmental activist Greta Thunberg.

One thing is certain, for many, this arrest sounds the end of their tweet battle.

“Greta Thunberg not only destroyed Andrew Tate with her tweet, she pissed him off so much that he inadvertently informed Romanian authorities of his presence in Romania with her lame throwback video. Greta is an absolute legend, ”tweeted a user.
