After a short TV break, Manu and Konny Reimann are returning with new episodes of their documentary “Welcome to the Reimanns” back to cable one. The first episode of the new season can be seen on television on January 8th and is already available from the streaming provider Joyn.
“Welcome to the Reimanns”: Konny and Manu leave Hawaii for a month
In episode 1, Konny and Manu are only at their house in Hawaii at the very beginning. There, the craftsman finally completed the pool his wife had been waiting for so long. After all the work, the tinkerer is in desperate need of a break, so the couple decides to leave Hawaii – at least for a while.
Because the emigrants fulfill a big dream and drive across the USA in a caravan. Her goal: to cover a distance of 8,000 kilometers and travel through 17 states within around four weeks. Their plan: First, the two fly to Maine to start their vacation from there. The last point of the trip should then be either Portland or Seattle.
A pretty big project, but both Konny and Manu are on fire. However, there is one condition: the couple must be back in Hawaii following a month of traveling, because their good friends’ silver wedding anniversary is being celebrated there.
This is what the Reimanns’ new home looks like
Until then, the TV stars will still experience a lot. In the first few days, for example, they learn regarding lobster fishing and ride the highest and longest cable car in North America. An exciting tour, but saying goodbye to Hawaii also means the Reimanns will have to find a new home for the next few weeks.
Also interesting:
And that’s actually pretty impressive. Manu rented a medium-sized trailer in advance, but then the surprise at the Maine airport: in front of them is one of the largest trailers that can be rented in the USA.
The car, which is ten meters long and 2.5 meters wide, will then take to the streets of North America. “We set it up comfortably and make it a home for the next 4 weeks,” emphasizes Manu. And indeed, the two TV stars feel right at home in their new home. What else Manu and Konny expect on their trip can be seen in the upcoming episodes of the season.
