James Cromwell fights for animals whenever he can, including helping PETA achieve important victories for Dogs and monkeys enter laboratories. Cromwell: Animal rights movement must be “relentless and confrontational” to get anywhere
PETA releases a video of Cromwell and Lange answering questions. In it, the actor shows his unseen cheeky side, revealing that his last meal would be psilocybin mushrooms and that his cat brings him more than anyone else. He goes on to say that today’s generation of animal rights activists must be “relentless and confrontational” – qualities he has demonstrated in abundance himself in his work on behalf of animals.
In honor of Cromwell’s boundless empathy and incredible contributions to animal rights, PETA is changing the name of its Los Angeles venue to the James Cromwell Empathy Center. The James Cromwell Empathy Center is located in Echo Park, not far from PETA’s Bob Barker Building.
