In a press release, Romain Saïss calls on supporters to respect his private and family life following the recent publication of photos and videos of his private life, without his consent, on social networks.
“First of all, I wanted to thank you once more for the unconditional support you have given us over the past few weeks. What we have achieved would not have been possible without you”, writes Romain Saïss, captain of the national football team, in its press release.
“However, you will also have noticed that throughout my career, I have made sure to draw a clear line between my public life as a football player and my private and family life. Yet, in recent days, photos and videos of purely private nature found each other on social media without my consent“, he adds.
He says he cannot accept such an invasion of his privacy. “I would like this not to happen once more in the future. Should it nevertheless be the case, I would have no choice but to initiate the corresponding procedures with regard to those responsible“adds the captain, specifying that he wishes “to be able to enjoy his family life serenely”.
