In Venezuelathe Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS) each month provides a pension to more than five million citizens who have reached a certain age or have been harmed by an accident or illness.
The National Government, through the IVSS, reported that on Tuesday, November 22, the corresponding amount for the month of December plus a month’s bonus was paid to all pensioners of the Homeland.
It is important to indicate that workers in Venezuela contribute between 2% and 4% of their salary to Social Security, while employers deposit between 9% and 11% more to the employees’ account; the amounts are reflected in the payments that are made monthly.
WHEN IS THE BENEFIT PAID TO THE PENSIONERS?
This Tuesday, November 22, the pensioners will receive the payment of the pension and the second month of Christmas bonus, for an amount of 260 bolivars or US$26,05 at the exchange rate of Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).
“Thanks to the social security policies of the Revolutionary Government presided over by Nicolás Maduro, tomorrow, Tuesday, November 22, the payment of the pension for the month of December and the second month of christmas bonus”, indicated the institution on its social networks.
THE REQUIREMENTS TO BE A PENSIONER
All citizens who wish to be considered to receive the IVSS pension, as a first requirement, will have to pass an age limit that is 60 years for men and 55 years for women. If you meet this condition, you will be entitled to an old-age pension taking into account the following requirements:
- Minimum 750 quotes.
- Present identity card.
- Request for cash benefits, original form 14-04 (02).
- Proof of work, form 14-100 of the last six years worked.
Likewise, you will have to go to any of the 48 IVSS administrative offices that are located nationwide, with all the requirements in a folder. Where you live will not be taken into account.
