They find in Costa Rica a boat that would have capsized with Venezuelan migrants (+ list)

The group of migrants would have set sail from San Andrés Island in Colombia towards Nicaragua, and continue on their way to the US.

Fishermen found belongings and remains of a boat that they presume capsized with more than 20 migrants, most of them Venezuelans.

Ehe discovery was made this Tuesday, December 27, in the waters between Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

The group of migrants would have set sail from San Andrés Island in Colombia towards Nicaragua, and continue on their way to the US.

This route has become popular as an alternative to passing through the so-called “Darién Gap”, reported Contrapunto.

The journalist Fernando Tineo explained that the occupants of the boat are missing.
