Warzone 2: Frustrated Fans and Professionals – “Regression in the Little Things”
What happened ? Warzone 2 was released just under a month ago, Modern Warfare 2 for two months. The Season 1 Reloaded mid-season update released in mid-December and brought new holiday content. But the term “new content” is rather exaggerated. Fans were horrified by the Warzone 2 and MW2 update because the promised content was missing.
Professionals and fans are frustrated: This caused frustration from fans and professionals alike. Shortly following the update, the German CoD YouTuber HapticRush posted a video in which he profusely complained and showed off the malfunctions of MW2 and Warzone 2. He’s not the only one.
American CoD pro FaZe Swagg also told Dexerto, “ They built Warzone 1 and did it so well. And now they’ve taken out all the little things and quality of life changes and taken a step back.«
Warzone 2 lacks basic features – fans and pros alike are amazed
These features are missing or broken: The main missing feature is a decent status tracker in Warzone 2, which was supposed to make it into Season 1 Reloaded, but has been postponed indefinitely. Warzone’s ultimate perk was bugged and Infinity Ward didn’t know regarding it until an American influencer pointed it out to them. But the criticism from the community does not stop there.
- Cannot sprint when inserting plates
- The movement was extremely slowed down
- Snipers no longer kill with a headshot
- Perks cannot be changed in Warzone 2 (this was a bug that has been fixed)
- Stats are not tracked
- Warzone 2’s ultimate perk was buggy and Infinity Ward didn’t know it.
- Loadouts are too hard to get and weapons too expensive
- Buy stations are too rare
- There is not enough money on the map
- There isn’t enough mid-game action because there aren’t enough players* on the big map.
HapticRush had much more drastic words than Swagg regarding frustrating bugs and removed features. ” They made a billion in ten days with this game. They have over 3000 employees. […] What are they doing ? They shoot coke all day or what? »
What happens next in Warzone 2? Since the excitement of HapticRush and Swagg, at least one thing has already changed. Loadouts can once once more be purchased in Warzone 2. Additionally, personal weapon prices have been reduced and more buy stations have been spread across the map.
Modern Warfare 2 is also controversial
MW 2 breaks all records, but also hearts – “The main thing is that the noobs are happy”
However, fans will have to wait a little longer before discovering real new content. Warzone 2 Season 2 won’t arrive until February. Until then, there is only the new Modern Warfare 2 raid or the new Warzone Cup game mode, which is a copy of Rocket League. The strain definitely has a different allure.
