Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has put the Serbian army and Interior Ministry security forces on high combat readiness. Troops were also moved near the Kosovan border. This is also explosive because only a few days ago Vučić publicly considered sending Serbian security forces to Kosovo, which the Kosovar government and the Kosovar population saw as a threat because they are still very familiar with the oppression by the regime of Remembering Slobodan Milošević and the 1999 war.
