In particular, it is ranked: 9th according to the indicator relating to design filings by origin and GDP, 33rd in the indicator relating to trademark filings by origin and GDP, and 51st for patent applications filed internationally according to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) by Origin and GDP.

The Board then adopted the 2023 action plan, established according to the OMPIC 2022-2026 development strategy, structured around 4 strategic pillars and 9 programs.
These 4 pillars are: “Ecosystem of industrial and commercial property conducive to entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity”, “Efficient and Modern Services for the Protection and Valorization of Intangible Assets”, “OMPIC, Proactive and Performing Organization” and “Digital Transformation of OMPIC”.
