It’s time for our final buyer’s guide. Of course, there will be a lot of smartphones in it, but let’s not forget regarding other categories of goods.
Table of Contents
Tecno Phantom X2
A brand new flagship from TECNO, which was released just this week. Why is he interesting for his 44,990 rubles?
First, of course, the display. It has a huge 6.8-inch screen with an AMOLED matrix and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A real gift for watching any content, reading or playing games. Secondly, PHANTOM X2 has one of the latest 4 nm flagship chipsets from MediaTek – Dimensity 9000 and 8 GB of RAM, so there will be no problems with performance not only in everyday use, but even in the most powerful games.
Thirdly, the battery capacity, it is an impressive 5160 mAh, and a 45 W charger is already included. At the same time, the thickness of the smartphone is only 8.9 mm.
A lot of attention was also paid to the cameras, by the way, pay attention to the main module, it looks unusual and original. And here I will also mention the excellent case materials: glass on the back cover and a metal bezel around. But back to the cameras: the main 64 MP camera with f/1.7 aperture does a great job even with difficult shots when you shoot with a minimum of light, and the 32 MP front camera takes great selfies in any light.
In general, TECNO released an excellent flagship smartphone with top-end hardware, cool design, a good camera and an adequate price. And when buying at Ozone and MVideo, they give significant bonuses as a gift.

Infinix Zero 20
A cool and inexpensive smartphone with a very good selfie camera for its price and a beautiful original design.
The back cover of the Zero 20 is made of a special material that changes color depending on the lighting. The smartphone plays very beautifully in the light, and you can admire this effect for a long time. Given that now manufacturers rarely play with design, it’s very nice to see this in a gadget under 20,000 rubles.
The screen uses a 6.7-inch AMOLED matrix with FHD + resolution and a frequency of 90 Hz, while the screen of the smartphone is flat, which is also a plus.
With the performance of the Zero 20, everything is also good: the Helio G99 and 8 GB of RAM are enough for the eyes for all tasks, and 256 GB of internal memory will allow you not to worry that there is no place for your photos or videos.
But most of all I was surprised by the cameras. The 108 MP main module takes great pictures and has a cool effect of replacing the sky with one of 12 presets. You can substitute a starry sky, starfall or a beautiful pink sunset on your frame. But the 60 MP front camera has received optical stabilization at all, so you can easily take high-quality selfies in the evening and at night, as well as shoot yourself while driving.
We summarize: a great beautiful smartphone with decent features and cool cameras.

Xiaomi 12T
Imagine that for the New Year you want to please yourself with a flagship smartphone, but are not ready to spend 70-80 thousand rubles on it. In this case, you can pay attention to Xiaomi 12T, which can be taken at half the price. And not to say that he is something worse. Judge for yourself.
The smartphone has a huge 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a huge 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging (also an adapter is included), the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal fast storage UFS 3.1.
And, of course, the cameras, because they are what distinguish the flagships from other models. The smartphone shoots well in any conditions, thanks to the main 108 MP camera, the second ultra-wide-angle 8 MP module is suitable for landscape shots, and the separate third 2 MP module is designed for macro. The main camera has optical stabilization, so even in the evening or at night the shots will come out great, and fans of various modes will like the many settings in the built-in application.
Everything seems to be fine, but something seems to be missing. What exactly? Of course, some nice gift with the purchase. And it is: when you buy Xiaomi 12T in MVideo before January 9, you will receive as a gift a choice of Xiaomi Redmi Buds wireless headphones or a Xiaomi Band 7 fitness bracelet. An excellent bonus, given that the 12T itself has a large bundle (charger for 120 W and a transparent case).

realme 10
So, let’s say you are looking for a smartphone as a gift, which a person will be happy to use for the next few years, and do not want to spend more than 20 thousand rubles on it. Then you should take a closer look at realme 10.
This is one of the most inexpensive devices with a display refresh rate of 90 Hz, and even with an AMOLED matrix, which is just a gift for such money. It will be nice to watch a movie or the same YouTube from it. The smartphone also has impressive performance, thanks to the latest Helio G99 processor and dynamic RAM up to 16 GB, you can open up to 18 applications at the same time, and the AnTuTu benchmark scores an impressive 400,000 points.
But the screen and performance are just the icing on the cake, because the rest of the characteristics are also on the level: a large 5000 mAh battery, support for fast charging, a beautiful bright design, and a comfortable shell. Well, all sorts of little things like NFC support and Android 12 on board.
And, of course, look at this case shimmering in the light, I really love it when manufacturers do something original with the design.

TV Xiaomi TV Max with a diagonal of 86 inches!
When I first saw the announcement of this TV, I was shocked for two reasons at once. First, of course, on its size. Just think regarding it, its width is almost two meters! As a child, when I imagined such TVs, I thought that they are only in the apartments of very rich people.
And here we come to the second reason for my shock, and that is the price. 100,000 rubles for such a huge TV? Only 100 thousand? It is clear that this is not a budget purchase, but I took my LG OLED B8 with a diagonal of 55 inches for 80 thousand. It is clear that there is an OLED matrix, etc. But still. 86 inches for 100 thousand rubles, and this is the official price, not a gray price tag. This is an amazing offer for those who wanted a huge TV, but were not ready to spend fabulous money on it. Once once more, Xiaomi makes technology more accessible, for which they receive huge respect.

Apple iPad 10.2 2021
For me, the iPad is always a very emotional purchase, now I am writing these words and thinking: why is that? And the answer itself comes to mind: because it is not a thing of first necessity. Yes Yes exactly. You can perfectly live without an iPad, but the more pleasant it is to buy it or receive it as a gift. You can read a little more conveniently from it, play a little more comfortably, enjoy watching videos a little more, and all this creates a feeling of a bonus, icing on the cake and, of course, brings pleasure. But the fact that in the new generation there are almost no changes in comparison with the previous one does not bring pleasure. But you can take last year’s iPad and save regarding 5,000 rubles.

Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet
In fact, you can experience positive emotions from buying a tablet even if you choose not an iPad, but simply a quality model from another company. And there are not so many good options here, personally I like the Xiaomi Pad 5 the most.
Firstly, this tablet has a large high-quality 11-inch IPS display with a high resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Secondly, it is thin and light at the same time (6.85 mm and 511 grams). Thirdly, it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 860. Fourthly, it has a 8720 mAh battery.
All in all, a great alternative to the iPad for those who love Android more (and especially for those who want to watch videos through third-party players).

Samsung Galazy Z Flip4
For many years now, smartphones with a flexible screen have been haunting me, but I consider vertical clamshells to be a truly interesting format. Firstly, they cost “only” 70 thousand rubles (or 55 thousand if we are talking regarding versions for other countries). Secondly, it is in the unfolded form that they look more like a smartphone than a tablet.
At the same time, if we omit the unusual form factor, then we still have the same flagship, only more compact: a huge high-resolution AMOLED display, the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, a lot of RAM and internal memory, and good cameras. Every year I look at such clamshells, but so far I do not dare to change my iPhone 12 mini to one of them.
Price: from 55 000 rubles
Steam Deck
Very controversial, but no less interesting device. On the one hand, it makes it possible to play full-fledged PC games in a portable console format, and on the other hand, it has a lot of compromises. This applies to performance, and support for games, and convenience (although this is a console, it is very heavy). And yet, following talking with several Steam Deck owners, I saw that they are all very happy with the purchase and are happy as little children. But emotions are the most important thing, so I decided to include it in today’s selection.
But before buying, I recommend reading a review from one of the readers, he talks in detail regarding the shortcomings of the console.

Acer Nitro XV282K Gaming Monitor
Finally, I want to share with you a little personal story and tell you regarding a gift that I want to make myself, following all, we have an author’s buyer’s guide. But first, a little background. A couple of weeks ago, during one game stream, a viewer donated 85 thousand to me for a new gaming PC! The amount is impressive, and I’m still a little shocked by it.
But I remembered it for a different reason. Along with the computer, the monitor will also need to be updated, because my current iMac cannot work as an external monitor. And you know, finding a good gaming monitor with at least 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz is a real challenge. All suitable models cost from 55 thousand and above. And I don’t want to settle for anything less, for four years I got used to working in 5K, and switching to FHD is a real pain.
So far, I’ve settled on this model – Acer Nitro XV282K, it has everything I need: high resolution, minimum response, 144 Hz, height and tilt adjustment, external USB 3.0 ports, vertical rotation and even USB connection -C. In addition to streaming and playing PC games, I also plan to connect a Nintendo Switch to this monitor, since playing while lying in front of the TV is not very convenient for me. The only thing is that there is no G-Sync support, but since I’m not a gamer, I don’t really understand how important it is with an NVIDIA graphics card.
In the comments, I would be glad to hear your feedback on expensive gaming monitors, and you can also share what you yourself would like to buy from gaming gadgets.
Price: from 60 000 rubles
