However, “despite the fact that the Health personnel are doing everything humanly possible to save the lives of these minors, in two of the three cases their state of health is extremely critical,” said the secretary.

The case, said the head of Health, is already being attended to by the state and federal health agencies, awaiting the results issued by the Institute of Epidemiological Diagnosis and Reference (Indre), who analyzes the sample to rule out or confirm the disease. .

Meanwhile, a brigade made up of personnel from the National Center for Disease Control and Preventive Programs (dinnerprece), in coordination with the Department of Communicable Diseases of the SSO, the State Program for Rabies and other Zoonoses of the agency, as well as the Sanitary Jurisdiction 1 Valles Centrales, went to the town to continue the corresponding protocol.

After that, they ruled out new cases of people attacked or with suggestive symptoms, information that was confirmed by the Secretary of Health this Monday.

“It is important to say that the girls and the minor affected live in a community with conditions of extreme marginality, the result of the lack of attention from previous governments,” said Velasco Hernández.

In addition, it invited the population of the state to go immediately to their nearest Health unit in case they have been attacked by a wild animal and notify the attack suffered to start with the corresponding protocol.
