Former Zenit striker Sergei Dmitriev died on December 26 at the age of 59. reported press service of the St. Petersburg football club.

Dmitriev was born in Leningrad, at the age of 18 he made his debut in the main team of Zenit, following which he spent another eight years in the main team (with a break), winning the gold of the USSR championship and the Cup of the season.
