The 2022 Christmas gifts the NBA needs
– The Nuggets are in a good position to end 2022 on your mind of the Western Conference. Denver won the thriller of the day once morest Phoenix, in a duel between ambitious Conference. Nikola Jokic and his comrades had to go into overtime to get the upper hand on the Suns, in an opposition that we would not be once morest seeing in the playoffs in a few months.
Jokic, who does not care that a game is played on December 25 or April 12, was still monstrous to finish in triple-double (41 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists) and drive the victory of his people. Also noteworthy is the show ofAaron Gordon (28 pts, 13 rebounds), who spent his evening slamming dunks, including one of the posters of the year (see below), and the very good 4th quarter of Jamal Murray (26 pts).
On the side of Phoenix, Chris Paul (17 pts, 16 pds), Landry Shamet (30 pts), Deandre Ayton (22 pts) and Damion Lee (18 pts) had respondents. The evening had not started well since Devin Booker only spent 4 minutes on the floor before going out, hit in the groin.

– The Warriors obviously wanted to charge I Morant his statements regarding not fearing any western team this season. Even depopulated, without Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins, Golden State played a nasty trick on the Grizzlies for Christmas. Despite the 36 points of Morant, who was wearing his signature shoe, the Ja 1, for the first time, it was the Californians who had best digested the meal the day before.
Jordan Poole set the tone with his offensive aggressiveness (32 pts), supported by Klay Thompson (24 pts) and it was in the third quarter that the defending champions made the hole in a game as always very tough between the two teams. Klay has a little something once morest Memphis and didn’t hold back when he saw Dillon Brooks, who hinted he was enjoying his match-up with him, on the floor in the final quarter. Obviously, it was well worth a technical fault.

The 42 points from the Dubs’ bench, with Ty Jerome, Moses Moody and Anthony Lamb as main artificers, were also valuable.
– Boston needed a big win to cement their dominance in the East at the end of the year. What might be better than having the Bucks at home? The Celtics stunned Milwaukee in the second half, with a tandem Jayson Tatum (41 pts) – Jaylen Brown (29 pts) far too sharp for the tense Bucks who are now on three consecutive defeats.
Giannis Antetokounmpo lost his cool in a clash with Brown in the 4th quarter, going to nudge the C’s winger, whom he complained of brutality. A little beak once morest beak, nothing too bad, but intense enough to meet in a few months…

– The Sixers took a while to get into their game at Madison Square Garden, but the gist of it is there. Philadelphia won an 8th consecutive victory to continue its rise in the standings. While they were dominated by the Knicks in the first three quarters, Joel Embiid (35 points, 13 rebounds), James Harden (29 pts, 13 wt) and their comrades got angry in the last. George Niangauthor of four 3-point baskets in the only 4th QT, set the tone in the run (24-9) which allowed the Sixers to win.
Philadelphia is 5th in the East, just three wins off the lead.
– The Mavs aren’t usually big fans of Christmas games. This time, they managed to please their fans, on the day of the inauguration of the statue of Dirk Nowitzki in front of the room. Dallas dominated the Lakers, not without having to wait for a rather incredible third quarter to make the difference.
The Texans simply passed 51 points (!) in LA in this quarter, a record for a Christmas Game in the NBA and the most prolific QT of the season. The Lakers, led by LeBron James (38 pts), led by 12 points following returning from the locker room, but were overwhelmed followingwards.
Luka Doncic (32 pts), Tim Hardaway Jr (26 pts) and Christian Wood (30 pts, 7 pds) were the greatest architects of success. This is the 4th loss in a row for the Lakers, who are now 13th out of 15 in the West. The Pelicans are beginning to seriously regain hope in the Wembanyama Race, they who have the right to exchange their pick with the Lakers at the end of the season…
