On the other hand, Lamjarred will perform at a concert in Egypt on December 29 in Sharm El-Sheikh, ignoring the boycott calls made by social media pioneers, once morest the background of his accusation of rape, which he faced a few years ago in France.
The Syndicate of Musical Professions in Egypt responded to campaigns to boycott Lamjarred’s concert by granting the concert’s organizer a permit to hold the concert, which is Saad Lamjarred’s first in Egypt following an absence of many years.
Lamjarred also published a video announcing his expected concert, attaching it to a comment: “My dear beloved ones in Egypt, we will see each other on December 19 in Sharm El-Sheikh Taj Mahal.”
The concert is part of Saad Lamjarred’s tour in the Middle East at the end of this month, which includes Istanbul, Beirut, Dubai and Doha.
