Criminal trial
The Public Prosecution Office had referred Menna Shalaby to criminal trial before the Criminal Court at the conclusion of the investigations conducted with her, as it charged her with obtaining the substance of narcotic hashish with the intention of using it in cases other than those authorized by law. The Public Prosecution stated that the list of evidence includes the testimony of 5 witnesses to the incident, the findings of the police investigations, and what was proven by the surveillance cameras recordings at the place where they were seized at Cairo International Airport, in addition to what resulted in the chemical laboratory examination of the seizures found in their possession.
