As the season draws to a close, we’re making a bold prediction for every game remaining on the Minnesota Vikings’ schedule, as well as playoff positioning.

These last three weeks are going to be filled with intrigue in the NFC. The Minnesota Vikings even hope to secure first place in the conference.

With the state of health of Jalen Hurts, no one knows what will happen during the next three matches of the Philadelphia Eagles (13-1). Mathematically, however, the Vikings have hope.

Philadelphia must play two tough divisional games once morest the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, with a fairly doable game between the two as they face the New Orleans Saints. But you know what they say: any Sunday…

Back to the Vikes. They have three weeks to tighten up some points for a run in the playoffs. Fans want the disastrous first half performance from a week ago to be shelved. And it starts in Week 16, when Minnesota continues its quest for the highest possible playoff ranking at home.

Minnesota Vikings vs. New York Giants Week 16 Prediction

After this historic, but also embarrassing, game once morest the Colts, the Vikings receive Daniel Jones and the New York Giants. It’s a game the Giants need to stay afloat in the NFC playoffs, so they’ll play Minnesota close.

The Giants apparently did just enough to win games this year, as Jones threw just 12 touchdowns. In fact, Jones has finished with zero touchdowns on five separate occasions this season.

He will have success once morest the Vikings defense, which has been very vulnerable lately. Despite Jones’ best efforts, the Giants would fall behind and end up scrambling the NFC playoff picture even further.

Bold prediction: Daniel Jones throws for 250 yards and a touchdown, runs for 80 yards and a touchdown, but the Vikings win 24-20.
