Kochi: A case has been registered once morest Govindan Kutty (42), the actor, presenter and MD of ABC Malayalam YouTube news channel, on the complaint that he was molested by the promise of marriage. The Ernakulam North Police registered a case on the complaint of the actress and model woman. Charges of rape and grievous bodily harm have been made.
The woman complained that she was molested many times in her rented house in Ernakulam, in her friend’s villa and in her car. He met the young woman during a talk show on YouTube channel. The actor had proposed marriage to the young lady. Later, when asked regarding this, the woman also alleged in the complaint that she was beaten up.
The woman lodged a complaint on November 24. The woman has also complained that the actor threatened her through WhatsApp, demanding that the cases be withdrawn. A complaint has been lodged with DGP, Chief Minister and City Police Commissioner CH Nagaraju. The woman approached the High Court seeking cancellation of the actor’s bail from the District Sessions Court. On the petition of the woman, the High Court sent a notice to Govindan’s child.
