From December 23rd to 29th, the national high school basketball winter tournament “SoftBank Winter Cup 2022” (the 75th National High School Basketball Tournament in 2022) will be held in Tokyo. A total of 120 teams, 60 men’s and women’s teams from all over the country, will compete for the top of the high school basketball world for 7 days.
Here, we will update the schedule, results, and scores of all games by men and women as needed.
Highlights of the second day (December 24th)
The men’s first round and women’s second round matches will be held from 9:00 am at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium and Ota Ward General Gymnasium. In the men’s event, last year’s champion Ohori attached to Fukuoka University (Fukuoka) will play once morest Yuta Watanabe’s alma mater Jinsei Gakuen (Kagawa), known as a “big game eater”. Seeded schools such as Kyoto Seika Gakuen (Kyoto), the winner of the inter-high school, and Osaka Kaoruei Jogakuin (Osaka), the runner-up school, will appear for girls.
