AMD is launching a new version of its driver, this time intended for RADEON RX 7900 Series. With his AMD Software Adrenalin 22.12.2, the brand corrects some problems encountered here and there. Anyway, let’s see what we have.
AMD Software Adrenalin 22.12.2 : AMD attacks his RX 7900 !
In fact, this new version of the driverAMD only brings fixes, no optimization or performance improvement in game. On the other hand, we find this:
- Fixed visual corruptions encountered when using the Virtual Super Resolution in multiscreen
- No more system crashes that might be observed when changing the display mode with a display configuration.
- There will be no more crash ni of timeout graphics driver on Marvel’s Spider-Man : Miles Morales charging following the activation of the RayTracing.
- Improved consumption of video playback with hardware acceleration. More improvements are to come.
Nevertheless, there is still work to be done. AMD being aware of the following issues:
- High consumption in idle on certain high resolutions or high refresh rates.
- Crashes intermittent application or driver timeout with the RADEON Super Resolution with some extended display configurations.
- From stuttering has been seen when playing video content with certain extended display configurations.
- From stuttering was observed on the opening scene ofUncharted 4.
- Of the crashes on Valheim can be observed using theVulkan APIs. If this happens to you, prefer DirectX until a patch is deployed.
- Lower than expected performance may be observed on some games VR.
