‘Anti-people will not be tolerated in the party; Illegal acquisition of property will be checked’ – MV Govindan | CPM

Thiruvananthapuram – CPM State Secretary MV Govindan said that anti-people and wrong trends will not be tolerated in the party. In the case of continued administration, one should act more cautiously. MV Govindan said in a press conference held following the leadership meetings that there will be no compromise if the party workers do wrong things.

The party discussed and approved the document “Urgent duties in the field of organization”. It has also been decided to check matters including illegal acquisition of property by party members. MV Govindan said that the party members should be able to correct the mistakes and deficiencies and lead the party. A party is not a watertight compartment. Decays seep into the party as well. Unacceptable trends must be effectively corrected by the Party. Correction is not done in a day. This process should continue throughout the life of the party. Party positions should be from the people’s side. The party will not support wrong trends. The party will intervene in such issues. The party will not accept things that are not accepted by the people. MV Govindan also said that party leaders and mass organizations should act cautiously in the case of continued administration.

From January 1 to 21, a campaign will be conducted in all households in Kerala to seek opinions regarding the government. The anti-people attitudes of the central government will be presented to the people. MV Govindan said that the opposition tried to turn the people once morest the government on the buffer zone issue but failed.
