This was week 12 of the NFL: Minor surprises and lots of meat:

And another week around in the NFL! Week 12 was all regarding the turkey, minor surprises, powerful Eagles and, once once more, stumbling MVPs.

USA – week 12 in the NFL provided only minor surprises. The favorites did not reveal any weaknesses, the wheat is being separated from the chaff more and more.

You shouldn’t bet on that, but mathematically all 32 teams can still reach the play-offs – and thus also the Super Bowl. Nevertheless, it is clear to everyone: teams like the Chicago Bears, Houston Texans or Denver Broncos only have one realistic chance of postseason participation – the NFL Game Pass.

With the current temperatures, the warm couch is also quite tempting, unless you are really running up to operating temperature! The hottest iron in the NFC fire are still the Philadelphia Eagles. 40:33 once morest the Green Bay Packers, even Aaron Rodgers prefers to be taken out early.

Official reason: rib injury. It might also be an injured ego, because nobody flies higher than the 10:1 eagles at the moment. Unstoppable?

There is no need for Odell Beckham Jr. (30), who showed in week 12 that he’s not really into flying anyway. Hands off Eagles!

The most promising candidate for the wide receiver are the Dallas Cowboys anyway – the second hot potato from the NFC East. Dak Prescott (29) shot easily from the hip once more in the 28:20 once morest the New York Giants. (By the way: With 42 million US viewers, it was the most-watched preseason game in US TV history.)

There is probably only one who can do it better: Patrick Mahomes (27). The quarterback led his Kansas City Chiefs to an unchallenged 26-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams, but also made unheard-of mistakes. After the game he was self-critical: “I have to act at a higher level!” Could also be taken as a threat.

Black eye for McVay, next shot across the bow for GOAT Brady

Nothing burned with the defending champion and the Chiefs got away without a black eye – unlike Rams coach Sean McVay (36), who took a good beating from one of his own defense players.

That will hurt a lot, as will the 3:8 record. Only the “gap of the nation” by Niclas Füllkrug is probably even greater than the difference between claim and reality in the Rams.

Pure frustration even with the old master! How much does Tom Brady (45) long to go back to Munich? At the NFL guest appearance in Germany there was a lot of love for the GOAT and, above all, something to celebrate – like once with Gisele.

But welcome back to reality! The woman is gone and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost once more, in overtime at the Cleveland Browns. The 17:23 was the fourth bankruptcy in the last six games, but the Buccs are still the best team in the NFC South with 5:6.

Brady’s time is up anyway, but luckily the NFL season isn’t. Also this week you can make yourself comfortable on the couch with lots of football. Hot fire in the broadcast “lottery”: Tennessee Titans at the Philadelphia Eagles at 7 p.m.!

Sam Darnold in the realm of oddities

Although the theme this weekend was Thanksgiving, it also offered a Halloween twist with the game between the woefully underperforming Denver Broncos and the frighteningly inconsistent Carolina Panthers. Because only a few were in the mood for the scary game. At least quarterback Sam Darnold, who ran with the Panthers this time (How many QBs do they still have???), offered a little smile with his rolled touchdown.

So did the teams in the 11th week of National Football League played:

(As is typical for the NFL, the away team comes first, with wins-losses in brackets and, if applicable, ties last.)

Buffalo Bills (8-3) @ Detroit Lions (4-7) 28:25

New York Giants (7-4) @ Dallas Cowboys (8-3) 20:28

New England Patriots (6-5) @ Minnesota Vikings (9-2) 26:33

Denver Broncos (3-8) @ Carolina Panthers (4-8) 10:23

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6) @ Cleveland Browns (4-7) 17:23

Baltimore Ravens (7-4) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (4-7) 27:28

(Here Raven’s kicker Justin Tucker (33) failed just before Ultimo with a 67-yard kick attempt.)

Chicago Bears (3-9) @ New York Jets (7-4) 10:31
